Trinity is a vibrant family-focussed church on the outskirts of Reading, next to a large ASDA superstore, local authority leisure centre, library, doctors’ surgery and various other amenities.

We are an active and energetic church but I hope a welcoming place for anyone.  In 2022 we began a Cantonese speaking congregation, led by newly arrived Hong Kong Christians, and we’re working towards becoming one integrated church which is really exciting.

Activities during the week include Sunday worship gatherings – 9.30am and 11am (with Junior Church) in English and in Cantonese at 2.30-4pm at Trinity and at St Mary’s, Winnersh at 11.15am.  There are various fellowship activities as part of the Hong Kong ministry ministry during the week.

We run a toddler group on Monday mornings, an International Cafe on Monday lunchtimes, an informal time called Wednesday Worship,  a Cantonese speaking cafe on Thursday mornings, a drop-in wellbeing cafe called Re:fresh for anyone wanting company, a chat (in-depth with prayer if you wish), a cup of tea and piece of cake.  This also includes a community lunch on the first Thursday each month. We  run Who Let the Dads Out (WLTDO) on the first Saturday morning of each month – a toddler group for dads and male carers to bring their kids (up to year5/6). We have a growing children’s programme and our youth programme is developing and is very much in partnership with other local churches. We also have several small groups for mutual friendship and spiritual growth.

During the week we’re also open at various times for personal prayer and reflection.

We’re thrilled to have worked more closely during the pandemic with other local churches through forming The Earley Help Hub and this developed into a network of churches across Reading called Torch. The vision is to see how we can serve the local neighbourhood together, more as one church. We love exploring and developing links with our local community.

我們很高興能在2022年開展了一個全廣東話的崇拜給香港人參加。時間是逢星期日的下午2時30分至4時正。

If you’d like to meet up for a chat and a coffee then please get in touch with Jon (the minister/vicar) or drop in during the week as we’re often open and the team would love to see you.  Our calendar also has more information.
