To further God’s work in the wider world we give 10% of our income to support charities working with those in need. Currently that is around £17,000 a year. These are some of the charities we regularly support:

Kagando Hospital and Rural Development Centre, Uganda

Our link began when a member, John Medcraft, helped the hospital to set-up a pathology lab 20 years ago and we have supported them in several ways since then. Our latest donation, of £3,000, was to help meet additional costs (and lower income from patients) due to the pandemic.

RE-Inspired

We give £1,800 a year to this charity that we helped to set up in 2004, that works with schools to help deliver the RE syllabus.

Christian Aid

Probably the cornerstone or our response to God’s call to serve to poor. We use church funds to match giving by the congregation at Christmas and in Christian Aid week, as wll as making donations at other times.

Water Aid
We traditionally support Water Aid with fundraising activities around Harvest.
