Making your marriage vows in church before God, witnessed by your friends and family, surrounded by their love and ongoing commitment to support you as you embark on your new life together, is a wonderful thing.

Weddings are usually conducted using the denominational order of service of the minister at the time, so Methodist, United Reformed or Anglican.

We offer marriage preparation for all couples. This is designed to ensure that, as you enter a life together, you have a common understanding of each other’s hopes and plans in key areas including; how to look after and protect your relationship, having a family and finance.

Couples will, of course, need to have banns of marriage read ahead of the wedding, so once you’ve spoken to the minister and booked the wedding service, please complete the banns of marriage form.

If one or both of you is divorced, it is still possible to get married at Trinity. The minister will want to talk through the circumstances of the divorce with you and discuss the way forward.

To discuss your hopes and plans for your wedding and to help us tailor the wedding service to you, please contact the church office or Jon (the minister).
